Staying at the Hotel

Q

Can I leave luggage with the hotel before checking in and after checking out?

A

Yes, you may leave your luggage at the cloakroom on the first floor. As for your valuables, you may leave them at the front desk.
Please inquire with the staff at the front desk.

Can I send luggage to the hotel in advance?

A

Yes. The hotel can hold your luggage for you until your arrival. If you wish to send luggage in advance, please send it to the following address.
(Shipments whose receipt requires payment such as cash on delivery will not be accepted.)

*Please provide the check-in date and the name(s) of the person(s) staying when sending luggage.

Can I send packages from the hotel?

A

Yes. Packages can be sent to anywhere in Japan at Loisir Plaza, a shop inside the hotel (Operating hours: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.).
Delivery companies: Nippon Express Pelican, Yamato Transport, Sagawa Express, Japan Post Yu-Pack

Packages cannot be sent from the hotel to other countries. You may ship overseas at the nearby post office.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

A

Check-in is at 2:00 p.m, and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

Can I check in early or check out late?

A

Yes. Guests may check in early or check out late for an extra charge.
Please inquire with the staff at the front desk first, since this service may not be available depending on room vacancies on the day in question.

Does the hotel charge for a child who sleeps with a parent in the same bed?

A

No. There is no charge for children who are of grade-school age (12 years old or less) and sleep with a parent.However, no room robes will be provided for such children.
In addition, there is a charge for using the facilities corresponding with age. If the child needs extra bedding, the charge will be the same as for an adult.

Are there guest rooms where smoking is permitted?

A

Yes. There are rooms for guests who smoke and do not smoke.
The rooms for smokers are on a floor separate from the non-smoking rooms.
Guests may only smoke in smoking rooms and at the designated smoking area.
The smoking area is on the first floor of Loisir Hotel Naha.
Smoking of any type (electronic cigarettes included) is strictly prohibited in non-smoking rooms, including their terraces and balconies.

Can I smoke a heat-not-burn cigarette in a non-smoking room?

A

Smoking including heat-not-cigarettes is prohibited in a non-smoking room.
Please be sure to smoke at the designated smoking area or a smoking room.

Q

Is there a parking lot at the hotel? If yes, is there a parking fee?

A

Yes. The hotel parking lot has a capacity of 303 cars. The parking fee is JPY 1,500 per day per car.
Reservations are not accepted. If the parking lot is full, you will be directed to a nearby fee-based parking lot.

Can I access the Internet in the guest rooms in the hotel?

A

Wi-Fi connection is available for free in all guest rooms. Please inquire with the staff at the front desk for the password needed for Internet connection.

Can two beds be joined together?

A

Yes, depending on the room. Please make this request upon reservation.


Hotel Facilities and Services

Is there a charge for entering the large public baths and the pools?

A

The following facilities may be used for a charge by guests staying at Loisir Hotel Naha.

【Miegusuku Hot Spring Shimanchu-no-Yu; outdoor pool; indoor pool】
These facilities may be used until 2:00 p.m. on the day of check-out.

Fee: JPY 1,500 for adults / JPY 750 for children aged 5 to 12 (Guests may use the facilities as often as desired during their stay.)

 *Hotel guests may use the outdoor pool for free if they will not use the locker room.

Visitor fee: JPY 2,500/entry for adults / JPY 1,250/entry for children aged 5 to 12

Q

Does the hotel have a fitness gym?

A

Yes, there is one on the 12th floor of Loisir Hotel Naha.Guests staying in the following rooms in Loisir Hotel Naha may also use the gym free of charge during their stay:

【Executive Suite, Comfort Suite, Premier Corner King, Executive Corner King, Executive Corner Twin, Executive King, Executive Twin, and Grand King】

*The fee for guests staying in other rooms is JPY 2,500 per day.

Can I enter the pools or the large public baths if I have a tattoo?

A

No. Guests who have a tattoo are asked to refrain from using the pools and the large public baths.

Are there any restrictions on the use of the hot springs and the pools by children and babies?

A

Yes. Children who are still in diapers are allowed inside the premises of the hot springs, but they are not allowed to enter the bath for considerations of sanitation management.Please bathe children who are still in diapers in the bathtub provided for babies.
Children who are still in diapers are not allowed to use the pool facilities either.
Children in diapers designed for playing in water are still not allowed to use the pool facilities for sanitary reasons. Children wearing such diapers may use the simple plastic pools provided by the hotel.

Up to what age can boys be taken into the women's bath, and girls, into the men's bath?

A

At Loisir Hotel Naha, boys and girls up to age 6 (preschool children) can be taken into the bathing area of the opposite sex.

Does the hotel have a coin-operated laundromat?

A

Yes. There are coin-operated laundromats on the second floor of Loisir Hotel Naha (Main Building), in the Miegusuku Hot Spring Shimanchu-no-Yu, and on the first floor of Loisir Hotel Naha (East Wing / Annex).

Do you have baby buggies or strollers for rent?

A

Yes. The hotel lends out strollers for children less than 3 years old. Advance reservation is required due to the limited number of strollers available.

Do you have cribs for rent?

A

Yes. The hotel lends out cribs for children less than 1 year old. Advance reservation is required due to the limited number of cribs available.
Please note that cribs cannot be set up in the hotel's Japanese rooms. Please consult the hotel staff in advance if you have a child who will be sleeping with you in the same bed.

Do you have bed guards for rent?

A

Yes. The hotel lends out bed guards for children aged 1.5 (18 months) to 5 years. Advance reservation is required due to the limited number of bed guards available.

*Please note that bed guards cannot be used with beds in Japanese rooms. Please consult the hotel staff in advance if you have a child who will be sleeping with you in the same bed.

Can I rent a car at the hotel?

A

Yes. There is a car rental desk (ORIX Rent-A-Car) on the first floor of Loisir Hotel Naha (Main Building). Please go there personally to make a reservation. Can I change money at the hotel?

A

Yes. There is an automatic foreign currency exchange machine in the lobby on the first floor of Loisir Hotel Naha (Main Building). The exchange rate changes daily.
The machine can change the following currencies into Japanese yen: US dollar (USD), Australian dollar (AUD), Singapore dollar (SGD), Euro (EUR), Chinese yuan renminbi (CNY), Hong Kong dollar (HKD), Taiwan dollar (TWD), South Korean won (KRW), Canadian dollar (CAD), British pound (GBP), Thai baht (THB).
The machine does not change Japanese yen into foreign currencies.

Does the hotel lend out umbrellas to guests?

A

Yes. Umbrellas can be borrowed at the cloakroom on the first floor. Please note that the number of umbrellas available is limited.
Umbrellas may not be available for rent during inclement weather.

How can I get a taxi at the hotel?

A

Please go to the taxi stand at the entrance of the hotel. If there is no taxi on standby, kindly inform the staff in the lobby so they can call a taxi for you.
The hotel charges an extra fee for taxi bookings made in advance. Please inquire with the staff in the lobby.

Does the hotel have a day care center?

A

No, there is none. However, the hotel can refer you to a day care center or to a babysitter in the vicinity. Please make an inquiry by email.

How can I get to the hotel from Naha Airport?

A

By car (taxi or rented car): About 7 minutes (via the Naha Umi-Sora Tunnel)

By monorail: About 15 minutes on foot from Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail Line

Is there a convenience store near the hotel?

A

Yes. There are convenience stores open 24 hours a day within a walking distance of 5 minutes from the hotel. There is also a supermarket (Town Plaza Kanehide Nishinomachi Supermarket) very close to the hotel, which is open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Is there an ATM near the hotel?

A

Yes. ATMs are available for use at the supermarket near the hotel, the nearest convenience store, and the post office.

Do I have to make a reservation for the restaurants in the hotel?

A

No. Reservations are not required, but they are recommended because the restaurants get crowded at times.
