Hotels' products, guest rooms, differ from other commercial products in that only a limited number are available for sale. Therefore, pricing controls are necessary to maximize per-room revenues, raising guest room rates during periods when demand is high and lowering them to attract customers during times of low demand. Solare's revenue management focuses on selling at the right price to an appropriately specified target at the appropriate time. We use an easy-to-understand diagram (a booking curve) to help owners develop demand forecasts.

All Manager Conference

Once each year, we hold a two-day All Manager Conference for hotel managers throughout Japan. On the first day, Solare Hotels & Resorts explains its annual plan, sharing important information on focus areas of business in the upcoming year. On the second day, managers from hotels whose performance has improved year on year are invited to explain their successes, which serve as case studies. Owners find these conferences extremely useful, as they provide a host of suggestions on ways to boost operating income.
