Helping the Victims of the Tohoku Earthquake SHR Offers 10,000 Room Nights Free of Charge2011.03.31
(Tokyo – November 16, 2010) Solare Hotels & Resorts (Head Office: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: A. G. Virili) is deeply saddened by the recent 9.0 magnitude earthquake that was followed by a devastating tsunami and nuclear power plant crisis in Fukushima Prefecture, which led to the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of households.
Against this backdrop of despair, Solare Hotels & Resorts and its group hotels nationwide is lending a helping hand and will provide a total of 10,000 room nights free of charge to the individuals who have been stricken by this series of tragic events.
The arrangement will be available from March 27 and applies to all Solare Hotels & Resorts, as well as its Chisun and Loisir-branded hotel properties nationwide. It is designed to offer a private respite to those obliged to stay at evacuation centers.
Affected individuals are able to make a booking on a special reservation page on Solare’s official website (http://www.solarehotels.com) between March 27 and June 30, 2011 with one person per reservation. A minimum of two guests per room is required, three guests or more is appreciated to provide the maximum number of people with relief during this difficult time.
*This special promotion will end once 10,000 room nights have been booked.
Although our hotels in tsunami-affected areas have experienced damaged facilities and/or reduced amenities due to transportation disruptions, these hotels are preparing to resume operations. Arrangements to offer rooms to disaster-stricken people will also be available upon informing them at the time of reservation of what services and facilities will be available to them.

Period of Eligibility: March 27 to June 30, 2011
Valid for individuals affected by the Tohoku earthquake, subsequent tsunami, nuclear power plant crisis in Fukushima Prefecture that are currently staying at evacuation centers.
Arrangement and conditions:
1. Bookings can only be made via the Solare Hotels & Resorts website. http://www.solarehotels.com.
2. Bookings can be made up to the day before the stay. Same day bookings cannot be accepted.
3. Each room shall be used by a minimum of two persons.
4. Minimum two nights, maximum five-night stays are available.
5. Reservations are limited to one per person.
