Construction on New Roadside-Type Chisun Inns2008.04.10

Solare Hotels & Resorts Co. Ltd. (Head Office: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President&CEO: A. G. Virili; http://www.solarehotels.com/english/) will start construction in spring 2008 of Roadside-type Chisun Inns in Tsuruga City (Fukui Prefecture); Hiroshima City (Hiroshima Prefecture); and Fuefuki City (Yamanashi Prefecture).

Chisun Inn Tsuruga will stand in the heart of Tsuruga City, the second-largest city in Fukui Prefecture, in close proximity to major arteries, ensuring easy road access . As Tsuruga City is home to one of Japan’s largest nuclear power plants, the property expects to welcome significant numbers of business travelers, particularly those involved with the power utility industry. With numerous sightseeing locations also in the area, including shrines, temples and ruins designated as nationally important cultural properties, Chisun Inn Tsuruga is in a prime position to attract leisure travelers as well.

Chisun Inn Hiroshima Seifu Shinto, located near important expressways in a new urban district of Hiroshima City, the property will be within easy reach of industrial parks as well as major academic, sporting, and medical facilities. Accordingly, in addition to business travelers, Solare anticipates a variety of guests including researchers, athletes and sporting enthusiasts.

Chisun Inn Kofu Isawa will be situated on the outskirts of Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Home to a variety of industrial and sporting facilities, and boasting a wide range of tourist attractions such as hot springs, wineries and renowned historical sites related to the famous samurai warrior Shingen Takeda, the city enjoys significant business and leisure traffic, which Solare is ideally positioned to attract.
