Solare Hotels & Resorts to Open Chisun Grand Nagasaki in July 20082008.03.24

Solare Hotels & Resorts Co. Ltd. (http:// www.solarehotels.com/english/) will open its second hotel in Nagasaki City, in July 2008. Solare currently operates a total of 57 hotels in Japan, including Chisun and Loisir-branded properties.

Chisun Grand Nagasaki is a mere six-minutes walk from JR Nagasaki Station, and is conveniently located in front of Gotomachi tram stop on one of Nagasaki’s historical tram lines. Offering easy access to the CBD as well as tourist attractions such as Nagasaki Peace Park, which commemorates the atomic bomb blast of 1945, and Glover Garden, the oldest Western-style house in Nagasaki, the hotel is well-positioned to appeal to both business and leisure travelers.

Chisun Grand Nagasaki was developed by Living Corporation (Head Office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; Representative: Shuichi Miwa) in consultation with Solare. Upon completion, Lone Star Group will acquire the land and building and Solare will assume responsibility for management of the hotel.
