Solare Hotels & Resorts Co. Ltd. (www.solarehotels.com/english) will soon commence construction of four new roadside-type hotels in Marugame City, Kagawa Pref., Joetsu City, Niigata Pref., Munakata City, Fukuoka Pref. and Saku City, Nagano Pref. The hotel in Marugame City will be Solare’s first hotel on the island of Shikoku.

Solare Hotels & Resorts CEO A.G. Virili commented: “With this announcement of an additional four new Chisun Inns, Solare has demonstrated once again its ongoing commitment to nationwide roadside development. Solare will have at least 22 roadside hotels with almost 2,000 rooms in operation by December 2008. In addition, we are further committing to Chisun Inn roadside roll outs by doubling the size of our development team. Our decision to base one senior developer in the Kansai effective January 2008, is a strategic move aimed at up weighting our development focus in Western Japan.
More new development announcements will follow very soon to confirm we are well on track to achieve our minimum goal of operating 50 roadside hotels with 4,700 guestrooms by 2010, including franchised properties.”　

Chisun Inn Marugame Zentsuji is located about 1.5 km from the Zentsuji Interchange on the Takamatsu Expressway. The property is easily accessible from the city centers of Marugame, Zentsuji and Tadotsu cities and is surrounded by parks, stadiums and large hospitals, as well as pilgrimage sites including Mt. Konpira, which welcomes pilgrims and tourists year-round. The hotel will target the steady stream of leisure travelers to the region.

Chisun Inn Joetsu Inter is located in the Tomioka area of Joetsu City, Niigata Pref., about 900m from Joetsu Junction at the crossroads of the Hokuriku and Joetsu Expressways. Nearby are large shopping centers such as Joetsu SC Akore and Region Plaza, as well as popular hot springs. Joetsu Arcadia City, which opened in 2005, is immediately adjacent to the hotel. The property is conveniently located for dining and shopping, and in addition, expects to welcome guests connected to Joetsu General Hospital. The hotel is also near Niigata South Industrial Park, as well as Naoetsu Port, a rapidly growing gateway to Northeast Asia. As a result, the hotel will target a wide range of leisure and business travelers.

Chisun Inn Munakata is located in Munakata City, Fukuoka Pref., along National Route 3, an important thoroughfare in Kyushu. The property is located near Toyota Motors Kyushu and its affiliates, as well as the Munakata Yurix Cultural Event and Sport Facility Complex, the Global Arena Multi-purpose Facility and the beaches of the Sea of Genkai, which many beach-goers enjoy in summer. The hotel will be a typical roadside-type hotel that attracts guests from the high flow of traffic on National Route 3. The hotel will be the first Chisun Inn in Fukuoka Prefecture, and the fourth in Kyushu, following the hotels in Tosu, Saga Pref., Kumamoto Miyuki Fueda, Kumamoto Pref., and Omura Nagasaki Airport, Nagasaki Pref.

Chisun Inn Saku Inter is located in Saku City, Nagano Pref., just 400 m from the Saku Interchange of the Joetsu Expressway. The property is located near Mikawada Industrial Park and the industrial facilities of TDK, Toshiba Battery and other manufacturers, and is also located near major tourist attractions such as Karuizawa and Komoro. Solare is actively building new hotels in Nagano Prefecture, and the property will be the fourth Chisun Inn in the prefecture, following Suwa Inter, Shiojiri Kita Inter, and a planned hotel in Nagano City along R18.
